Ways To Learn About Real Estate During the Weekend

Perhaps it’s time for you to start using time wisely and get the best out of your nights and weekends. Wouldn’t you give up some hours of your precious weekend to discover ways you can build a better future for yourself? Wouldn’t you give away a few weekends, if in the end, your whole life became just like a weekend, every day?

Real estate investing and its benefits are appealing to everyone. However, it’s not just magic pill or a “earn quick easy money” type of thing. It requires knowledge of the field with a plan firmly I place. That’s why I suggest you take your time and start learning more about real estate by following the tips below, to slowly start building the life of your dreams.

1. Start reading.

You know what people say – reading is the best way of learning.

Books – You might be surprised to find out how many books have been written about real estate investing. For example, “The Book of Investing in Real Estate” by Ben Grise; Or “The Millionaire Real Estate Investor” by Joshua Fraser. And who has not heard of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki? These books and many others were written by professionals, based on their own experience with real estate and the extensive knowledge that they possess.

Blogs – To be honest, reading blogs is currently, a more commonly used way of learning about real estate than books, and it’s pretty obvious why. You can search for a topic you are interested in, and you could find a blog post dedicated to it, which is a much more comfortable way of getting answers to your questions, rather than reading a whole book.

2. Start watching.

Isn’t this the way the kids of the digital era love to learn?

Videos – Let it either be YouTube, Vimeo, or SkillShare. You can find real estate experts willing to share their knowledge everywhere, while also showing you examples or tutorials through the videos.

Live events – Either if it’s a Webinar or just a Facebook live, you never want to miss an opportunity of getting your questions answered live while learning additional information through questions of other viewers. And any event you can attend in person has the added value of networking.

3. Start Listening.

That’s right, “I have to do chores” can’t be used as an excuse anymore, so grab your earphones.

Audio Books – We are back with books again, but in this case, we listen—there thousands of audiobooks, all about different aspects of real estate. For example, “Build A Rental Property Empire” by Mark Ferguson; Or “Crushing It in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate” by Brian H Murray.

Podcasts – Listening to podcasts has to be one of the most exciting ways of learning about real estate, as podcasts mostly involve two or more people discussing various topics and stating different opinions. By listening to them, you will be able to hear more than one person’s experience.
